Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masons) with various tasks as needed.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Follow blueprints and instructions provided by foremen to ensure quality workmanship.
- Perform general labor duties including mixing concrete, sanding, and painting.
Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols (OSHA 10 preferred but not required).
- Valid Driver's License or ID.
- Experience in general construction labor is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.
