Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial installations and repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with local Detroit building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Respond to emergency service calls during weekend shifts.
- Document all work orders and material usage accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to obtain required electrical licenses and certifications.
- Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade.
