Responsibilities
- Assist lead electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials and tools as needed.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including running conduit and connecting circuits.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or certification is required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are a plus but not mandatory.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
