Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Lead weekend project teams while maintaining OSHA safety standards
- Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools
- Coordinate with contractors and clients for seamless project execution
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 4 years of commercial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with 3-phase systems, conduit bending, and power distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with electrical testing equipment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
