Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency electrical repairs and maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control systems, motors, and transformers.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to minimize downtime and prevent equipment failure.
- Document all work performed, including time logs and material usage.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address complex electrical issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, meggers, etc.).
