Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics with precision
- Ensure full compliance with NFPA 70E and Florida electrical codes
- Diagnose complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Mentor junior electricians on safety protocols and best practices
- Coordinate with project managers to meet weekend construction deadlines
- Document all work with detailed reports and system updates
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Florida Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and NFPA 70E training
- Expertise in PLC systems, VFDs, and industrial controls
- Proven ability to work independently in weekend environments
- Strong diagnostic skills for high-voltage systems
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation with clean driving record
