Job Overview:
We are dedicated to keeping Dallas running smoothly. As a Weekend Plumber Apprentice, you will work closely with our senior technicians to provide top-tier service to our residential and commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Technicians: Shadow and support journeyman plumbers on all residential and commercial repair and installation projects.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally, answer questions regarding service, and ensure a clean workspace.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize plumbing tools and equipment, ensuring they are ready for daily use.
- Basic Repairs: Perform routine tasks such as unclogging drains, fixing leaks, and replacing washers under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols.
- Travel: Travel to various job sites within the Dallas metroplex as required by the shift schedule.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Driver's License: A valid Texas Driver's License and a clean driving record are required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Attitude: A positive, eager-to-learn attitude is essential. Previous trade experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
