Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Coordinate with project managers and safety teams for seamless execution
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience required
- Valid Louisiana Journeyman Electrician license (mandatory)
- OSHA 10/30 certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Expertise in conduit bending, troubleshooting, and power distribution
- Proficiency with Fluke meters, clamp-ons, and other diagnostic tools
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure weekend environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
