Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling and equipment operation
- Follow precise blueprints and safety protocols for all tasks
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the project lifecycle
- Operate hand tools and power equipment under supervisor guidance
- Report potential hazards and maintain OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic understanding of construction tools and safety procedures
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Sacramento County
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality essential
