Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Follow blueprints and safety protocols to ensure project standards are met
- Maintain clean and organized job sites through debris removal and equipment maintenance
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Participate in physical labor including lifting, digging, and material transport
- Report hazards or equipment malfunctions to site supervisors immediately
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Preferable: OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
