Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and demolition
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from project managers
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Complete daily equipment checks and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for absences
