Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including digging, lifting, and moving materials on construction sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and site preparation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Unload trucks and organize materials for daily use.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and job site instructions.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not always required.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is highly desirable.
