Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and transport them to the work area safely.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools, such as forklifts, jackhammers, and hand tools, under the supervision of a certified operator.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe job site by disposing of waste materials and ensuring tools are stored properly after use.
- Assisting Trades: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) by providing necessary materials and performing general labor tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome applicants with zero prior construction experience who are willing to learn.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform physical labor for long periods, including standing, walking, and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic measurements and calculations accurately.
- Reliability: Must have a strong work ethic and be punctual for all shifts.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
