Responsibilities
- Execute heavy lifting, excavation, and material handling tasks with precision
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) safely under supervision
- Maintain site cleanliness and compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Assist in blueprint interpretation and project-specific task execution
- Collaborate with crew members to ensure timely project completion
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Document daily progress and report safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform sustained physical labor
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility for overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
