Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and perform repairs
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors and clients
- Train junior electricians on safety protocols and best practices
- Prepare detailed reports for completed work and material usage
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Electrical License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
