Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment according to local codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of wiring and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure all electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers regarding project progress and any potential delays.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper operation and safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional electrical experience.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building codes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
