Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Inspect electrical systems and diagnose malfunctions using testing equipment
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams for system configurations
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and National Electrical Code standards
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials as needed
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
- Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Louisiana Electrician Journeyman license required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics
- Excellent time management and client communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
