Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous AI systems deployed in high-stakes environments
- Lead bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning models using proprietary tools
- Develop real-time monitoring systems for AI decision transparency and explainability
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical requirements into agile development sprints
- Author position papers and contribute to international AI ethics standards bodies
- Mentor junior researchers through our Ethics First Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Proven track record of implementing ethical AI frameworks in production environments
- Expertise in bias detection algorithms and fairness metrics (e.g., AIF360, Fairlearn)
- Strong background in policy development for autonomous systems or regulated industries
- Published work in top-tier AI ethics journals or conferences (e.g., FAccT, NeurIPS Ethics)
- Experience testifying before regulatory bodies on AI governance matters
