Responsibilities
- Analyze quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence trends to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align engineering, product, and leadership on future tech priorities
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on 2026 technology paradigms
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate emerging startups and IP acquisition targets
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and regulatory impacts on tech adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech research
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of successful tech commercialization or innovation pipeline development
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with advanced visualization proficiency
- Active membership in World Future Society or similar foresight organizations
