Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Analyze emerging technologies through patent research, academic partnerships, and competitive intelligence
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with data-driven financial projections and risk assessments
- Manage a $50M innovation budget with quarterly ROI tracking
- Build strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Stanford HAI, and global tech accelerators
- Mentor a team of 5 futurists and technology analysts
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or venture capital
- Proven track record of launching products with >$100M ARR in emerging tech sectors
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or MIT Tech Review
- Experience managing budgets >$20M and teams >10 people
- Fluency in strategic frameworks (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Methodology)
