Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech) and forecast 2026 market impacts through proprietary foresight frameworks
- Develop and implement cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 strategic objectives
- Lead "Future Labs" - high-stakes workshops with industry leaders to co-create disruptive solutions
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies with 3-year commercialization horizons
- Present strategic insights to executive board and secure $10M+ annual innovation budget
- Build and mentor a high-performance innovation team of futurists and technologists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or emerging tech leadership roles
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (AI/quantum/biotech focus)
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing cross-functional global teams
