Responsibilities
- Forecast technological and societal shifts through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop 10-year innovation roadmaps aligning with market disruption opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product strategies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present vision frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor global regulatory landscapes affecting future tech adoption
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026+ technology paradigms
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in innovation strategy, R&D, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced materials
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent strategic foresight training
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization capabilities
- Experience scaling innovation frameworks across global enterprises
- PhD or Master's in relevant field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenario analyses
