Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the company's 2026 strategic vision across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Identify and synthesize emerging global trends, scientific breakthroughs, and disruptive technologies
- Design and implement innovation frameworks to accelerate R&D cycles and market adoption
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align long-term strategy with business objectives
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present foresight insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-driven reports
- Oversee the incubation of moonshot projects with potential billion-dollar market impact
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-focused methodologies and innovation culture
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Strong stakeholder management experience with executive and technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation publications
- Experience in Austin or similar tech hubs preferred
