Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technology evolution through 2026
- Develop and implement cutting-edge R&D frameworks for emerging tech domains
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to shape long-term innovation roadmaps
- Present future scenarios to Fortune 500 clients and government agencies
- Manage cross-functional teams of PhD researchers and industry specialists
- Secure multi-million dollar grants from federal and private innovation funds
- Pioneer ethical frameworks for next-generation autonomous systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or climate tech
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Deep network within DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
- Experience advising Fortune 100 CTOs on technology disruption
- Fluency in future forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- US citizenship required for government collaboration projects
