Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to map emerging technology impacts on business verticals
- Produce quarterly Future State Reports highlighting disruptive opportunities and threats
- Advise executive leadership on adaptive strategies for volatile markets and black swan events
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and thought leaders
- Design innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026-era challenges
- Present compelling narratives about future possibilities to stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization capabilities
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
- Experience with futures simulation tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Cross-Impact Matrices)
