Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence and biotech augmentation
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping 2026-viable innovations (e.g., neural interfaces, climate AI)
- Partner with venture arms to identify and acquire disruptive startups in frontier tech
- Produce foresight reports on societal impacts of 2026 technological inflection points
- Secure $50M+ annual R&D funding through strategic government and corporate partnerships
- Advise C-suite on emerging tech ethics and regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Futurology with 10+ years in emerging tech
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing or AGI (2020-2023)
- Track record of scaling moonshot projects from lab to market (case studies required)
- Expertise in futures modeling using Bayesian forecasting and Monte Carlo simulations
- Security clearance for classified projects (or ability to obtain)
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Hindi for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technologies commercialized post-2020
