Responsibilities
- Develop forward-looking infrastructure roadmaps aligning with 2026 sustainability targets and urbanization trends
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in designing integrated smart city ecosystems (IoT, energy grids, mobility networks)
- Conduct scenario planning for climate-resilient infrastructure across 50+ US metropolitan areas
- Partner with government agencies and private sector leaders on policy frameworks for next-generation infrastructure
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biophilic design, carbon capture) for infrastructure applications
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and municipal stakeholders
- Oversee pilot implementations of futuristic infrastructure solutions in test cities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Sustainability, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in large-scale infrastructure project management or urban development
- Proven expertise in smart city technologies and sustainable infrastructure design principles
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex urban systems using GIS, BIM, or simulation tools
- Deep understanding of US infrastructure funding mechanisms (P3s, federal grants, municipal bonds)
- Certification in LEED, Envision, or equivalent sustainability framework
