Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and prototyping next-gen technologies targeting 2026 market readiness
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends and disruptive innovations with 3-5 year impact
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration and market adoption
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through grant applications and strategic partnerships
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Establish KPIs to measure technology readiness and commercial viability
- Champion ethical innovation principles across all development cycles
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership, with proven impact on future-facing projects
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Track record of securing >$3M in innovation funding or grants
- Experience launching minimum 3 products/services with 7-figure revenue impact
- Certified in Agile/Sc methodologies and technology foresight frameworks
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026-focused innovation initiatives
