Responsibilities
- Develop and execute forward-looking innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruption
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and launch breakthrough products and services
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and market trends
- Drive strategic partnerships with industry leaders and academic institutions
- Secure $5M+ in innovation funding through investor pitches and grant applications
- Mentor a team of 8+ innovation specialists and junior strategists
- Present quarterly innovation blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 market-defining products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Certification in Design Thinking or Agile Innovation methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives from concept to market
