Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Lead quantum computing research initiatives
- Oversee AI ethics framework implementation
- Manage $15M+ R&D budget and resources
- Mentor 12-person innovation team
- Secure federal/state innovation grants
- Develop patent portfolios (15+ filings/year)
- Partner with Stanford/MIT research labs
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- 10+ years in tech R&D leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science (minimum 3 papers)
- Experience securing $5M+ in government grants
- Expertise in quantum algorithms or neuromorphic computing
- Track record of launching patented products
- Security clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming
