Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Impact Reports' for Fortune 500 clients
- Architect innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Facilitate high-stakes scenario planning sessions with C-suite executives
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio across 3-5 strategic bets
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies
- Pioneer new frameworks for exponential technology governance
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or futures research
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-critical domains (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Proven track record of launching exponential-growth products
- Advanced degree in STEM, Futures Studies, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
