Job Description
Join Nexus Quantum Labs at the forefront of 2026's technological revolution. We're pioneering quantum-resistant cryptography and next-gen AI frameworks, and we need a visionary Quantum Algorithm Architect to design the computational backbone of tomorrow. You'll work in our state-of-the-art facility in San Francisco, collaborating with Nobel laureates and industry disruptors to solve problems deemed impossible just a decade ago. This isn't just a jobβit's your chance to architect the future of secure computation.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms for 2026-era systems
- Develop novel quantum machine learning frameworks leveraging fault-tolerant qubits
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical quantum models into production-ready code
- Research and integrate emerging quantum hardware (photonic, topological, or superconducting)
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing pipelines for enterprise-scale applications
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to future-proof digital infrastructure against quantum threats
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier quantum computing journals and conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or complex cryptographic systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum cryptography
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, or Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in linear algebra, computational complexity, and information theory
- Track record of leading technical projects from concept to deployment
