Responsibilities
- Lead Quantum Research: Design and architect novel quantum algorithms to solve complex machine learning problems and optimization tasks.
- System Integration: Integrate quantum processors with classical AI frameworks to create hybrid computational models.
- R&D Leadership: Conduct in-depth research into quantum error correction and qubit stability to improve system reliability.
- Team Mentorship: Guide a team of junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Technical Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for our quantum computing infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Prototyping: Build rapid prototypes to validate theoretical models and demonstrate feasibility to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantum software development or applied quantum physics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Qiskit/Cirq. Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, or Google Cirq) is highly preferred.
- AI Knowledge: Deep understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and neural networks.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex systems and develop innovative solutions to theoretical challenges.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
