What You'll Achieve: Lead the development of fault-tolerant quantum processors, pioneer error correction algorithms, and architect hybrid quantum-classical frameworks that will power the next generation of AI, cryptography, and materials science.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.9% fidelity
- Lead hybrid quantum-classical integration projects with Fortune 500 partners
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature journals
- Mentor a team of 5 quantum engineers and researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies
