Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing systems optimized for 2026-era applications including quantum supremacy and hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Design error correction protocols and fault-tolerant architectures for 100+ qubit processors
- Develop quantum algorithm blueprints for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing infrastructure
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography transitions
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum principles and implementation strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, QAOA) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, color codes)
- Experience with superconducting, photonic, or trapped-ion quantum hardware
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
