Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for enterprise systems
- Develop scalable quantum network architectures supporting 100+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, cryptographers, and ML engineers
- Conduct stress testing on quantum hardware under extreme environmental conditions
- Translate quantum algorithms into optimized quantum circuit designs
- Author white papers and patents for novel quantum methodologies
- Advise C-suite on quantum adoption timelines and ROI strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or cryptography development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or applied quantum computing
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic systems
- Deep understanding of post-quantum cryptographic standards (NIST PQ competition)
- Track record of delivering complex quantum prototypes to production
