Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum network topologies supporting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum security implementations resistant to Shor's algorithm attacks
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery and materials science
- Collaborate with ISO standards bodies on quantum communication protocols
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Expertise in quantum error correction (surface/colour codes)
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum cryptography or topological quantum computing
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems and photonic networks
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
