Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap targeting 2026 market disruption
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and neuro-interfaces
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proof capabilities into all digital products
- Establish strategic alliances with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present forward-looking insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Design innovation frameworks for sustainable and ethical tech adoption
- Oversee prototyping labs for experimental technologies with 5-10 year horizons
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of developing technology roadmaps with 5+ year vision
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Exceptional strategic communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating impact of future-oriented initiatives
