Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap, identifying paradigm-shifting innovations across AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype breakthrough concepts with $5M+ annual R&D budget
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global research institutions to accelerate 2026 milestones
- Present quarterly 'State of 2026' briefings to C-suite and board members, translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Oversee the Ethical Innovation Council, ensuring all 2026 initiatives align with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Mentor a team of 15+ futurists, data scientists, and innovation architects
- Author annual 'Horizon Report' predicting top 10 technologies that will reshape industries by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Futurism with 10+ years in tech innovation leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies or futures forecasting
- Proven track record of scaling breakthrough innovations from concept to market (3+ case studies required)
- Mastery of scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology roadmapping methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, neuro-interfaces, or climate-tech AI
- Experience securing $10M+ in research funding or venture capital for futuristic ventures
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
