Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Publish annual '2026 Horizon Report' predicting market disruptions
- Secure $10M+ in R&D grants from DARPA, NSF, and private foundations
- Advise C-suite on regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems and synthetic biology
- Mentor PhD fellows in our 'Future Architects' fellowship program
- Represent Nexus at Davos, Web Summit, and exclusive tech foresight forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or related field with 8+ years R&D leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies with >500 citations
- Proven track record of launching ventures valued at $50M+
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum algorithms, neurotech, climate modeling, or space tech
- Security clearance eligibility for national innovation initiatives
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Hindi for global partnerships
- Portfolio of patented technologies solving 21st century challenges
- Keynote speaker at 3+ major tech conferences in past 24 months
