This role merges foresight with execution, requiring you to anticipate paradigm shifts in AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable tech while building actionable strategies that position us as industry pioneers.
In our collaborative incubator environment, you'll work with Nobel laureates, serial entrepreneurs, and government liaisons to commercialize moonshot concepts. We offer equity, unlimited R&D budgets, and the autonomy to shape tomorrow's reality today.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global technology trends through horizon scanning, scenario planning, and patent landscape analysis
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech domains including quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, and climate-positive innovations
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and policy teams to prototype 2026-viable solutions
- Establish industry thought leadership through white papers, TED Talks, and policy advisory roles
- Secure $50M+ in government grants and venture capital for breakthrough initiatives
- Mentor PhD researchers and startup founders in our accelerator program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology with 10+ years in tech innovation
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (patents/portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, AGI safety, or decentralized AI
- Experience with Foresight Methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, Technology Roadmapping)
- Deep network within DARPA, NSF, or global innovation ecosystems
- Published author in MIT Technology Review, Nature Futures, or equivalent
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
