- Manage vendor relationships and service-level agreements for 200+ partners
- Develop contingency plans for weather, security, and crowd management scenarios
- Lead cross-functional teams including transportation, hospitality, and broadcast logistics
- Ensure FIFA compliance and sustainability standards across all operations
- Implement real-time monitoring systems for venue performance metrics
- Collaborate with local authorities for permits and regulatory approvals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in large-scale event operations or sports management
- Proven experience with FIFA, Olympics, or similar mega-events preferred
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials
- Advanced knowledge of venue safety protocols and crowd dynamics
- Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages valued
- Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets with P&L responsibility
- Expertise in crisis management and contingency planning frameworks
- Ability to travel 40% of time across 11 host cities
