Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives in next-generation AI architectures for 2026 deployment
- Develop novel algorithms in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize AI-adjacent chip designs
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at top-tier conferences
- Mentor PhD-level researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants annually
- Architect ethical AI frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science/AI/Quantum Computing with 5+ years industry experience
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers in AI/ML (h-index >20)
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and federated learning
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Track record of commercializing AI research (3+ products launched)
- Experience securing DoD/NSF research grants ($2M+ total)
- Deep understanding of AI ethics and responsible AI frameworks
- Fluency in quantum computing principles and hardware-software co-design
