Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with emerging global standards
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for machine learning models across all product lines
- Advocate for ethical AI design principles in cross-functional development sprints
- Lead stakeholder dialogues on AI ethics implications with regulators, NGOs, and industry partners
- Author public-facing transparency reports and ethical impact assessments
- Mentor teams on responsible AI deployment and ethical decision-making
- Monitor emerging ethical challenges in AI through continuous research
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years in AI ethics
- Proven expertise in designing bias mitigation strategies for machine learning systems
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, etc.)
- Exceptional ability to translate complex ethical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
- Track record of publishing influential research on AI ethics or responsible AI
- Experience with interdisciplinary teams including engineers, legal, and social scientists
- Demonstrated leadership in developing organizational ethical guidelines
