Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI deployed by 2026
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for ML models using statistical analysis tools
- Advocate for inclusive design in AI systems through stakeholder workshops and policy recommendations
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing responsible AI principles across product lifecycle
- Author white papers and policy briefs on AI governance for regulatory bodies and industry forums
- Monitor emerging ethical challenges in quantum computing and neurotech interfaces
- Mentor junior researchers on ethical AI methodologies and future tech trends
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3+ years applying ethical frameworks to AI/ML systems in regulated industries
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques for deep learning and NLP models
- Published research on AI ethics or future technology implications
- Proficiency in Python, R, or statistical analysis tools for audit implementation
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on AI governance strategies
- Deep understanding of evolving global AI regulations (EU AI Act, US Blueprint)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
