Responsibilities
- Develop and implement governance frameworks for AI bias mitigation and algorithmic transparency

- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical guardrails in MLOps pipelines
- Lead regulatory compliance initiatives for emerging AI legislation (EU AI Act, US Algorithmic Accountability Act)
- Establish stakeholder engagement protocols for community input on AI deployment decisions
- Monitor and report on AI system performance against fairness benchmarks
- Train cross-functional teams on ethical AI development practices
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks (GDPR, NIST AI RMF, OECD AI Principles)
- Proficiency in bias detection tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Published research or practical experience in algorithmic accountability
- Strong background in ML system architecture and MLOps workflows
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Experience navigating policy landscapes across international jurisdictions
