Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with emerging 2026 regulatory standards
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for autonomous systems and machine learning models
- Lead stakeholder workshops to establish ethical guidelines for AI deployment
- Monitor and report on evolving AI legislation and ethical best practices
- Design transparency protocols for explainable AI (XAI) implementations
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical considerations into development lifecycles
- Represent the organization in AI ethics forums and industry coalitions
Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, 2026 proposed US federal standards)
- Proven track record in bias mitigation for ML systems and algorithmic transparency
- Deep understanding of ethical AI principles from both technical and philosophical perspectives
- Strong policy development experience with cross-functional stakeholder management
- Published work or certifications in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Experience with auditing tools for fairness, accountability, and transparency (FAT) in AI
