This role bridges technical innovation with ethical compliance, ensuring our AI systems align with societal values and regulatory standards. You'll work directly with C-suite executives and research teams to implement governance protocols that balance innovation with accountability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce ethical AI frameworks aligned with evolving global regulations
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for machine learning models
- Design transparent documentation systems for AI decision-making processes
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed privacy-by-design principles
- Lead stakeholder workshops on responsible AI adoption across departments
- Monitor emerging AI governance trends and update organizational policies
- Represent the company at industry ethics forums and regulatory hearings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in AI Ethics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible tech roles
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Strong background in bias mitigation techniques for ML models
- Experience with AI risk assessment methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
- Published research in AI ethics or governance (highly desirable)
