Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with global standards and emerging regulations
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and risk assessments for AI-powered products
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees to evaluate AI deployments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical guardrails in AI development pipelines
- Create transparency reports and stakeholder communications on AI governance
- Monitor emerging AI legislation and industry best practices
- Mentor junior team members on responsible AI methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in AI governance, policy, or ethics roles
- Deep understanding of AI fairness, accountability, and transparency (FAT) principles
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong analytical skills for bias detection and mitigation strategies
- Exceptional communication abilities to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Published work on AI ethics or demonstrated thought leadership
