Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning pipelines
- Design explainability protocols for autonomous decision-making systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ethical considerations into product lifecycles
- Produce whitepapers on emerging AI ethics challenges for industry conferences
- Advocate for responsible AI adoption through stakeholder education programs
- Monitor regulatory developments and update compliance protocols accordingly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of AI ethics experience
- Proficiency in fairness metrics (AIF360, Fairlearn) and bias detection methodologies
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (GDPR, EU AI Act, state-level AI bills)
- Published research in AI ethics or responsible AI development
- Experience with stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with autonomous systems and IoT security protocols
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CSEP, AIGP) preferred
